The Court of International Trade ruled that Trump's 10% global tariffs were illegal after small businesses sued, following the Supreme Court's February strike-down of his broader tariff regime. The court ruled 2-1 that Trump overstepped the tariff power Congress had allowed under the law. If the administration appeals, the case would first go to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, then potentially to the Supreme Court.
