A data center campus in north-central Georgia consumed more than 29 million gallons of water without the local utility company initially realizing it, triggering low-pressure water flow to the host community. One water connection had been installed without the utility's knowledge, and the other was not linked to the company's account and therefore wasn't being billed. The data center campus paid the retroactive charge it was billed.
