A federal FOIA lawsuit seeks discovery into DOGE's activities inside the FCC, questioning ethics clearances, data access, and withheld communications tied to contract cuts and Musk-linked entities. The FCC has produced virtually no Signal, WhatsApp, iMessage, or Slack communications , despite contract review communications between FCC staff and DOGE team members and internal deliberations on a deregulatory initiative reportedly being among withheld records.
