Impulse Space raises $500 million as orbital maneuvering race heats up

Impulse Space raised $500 million in Series D funding to expand production of orbital transfer vehicles and spacecraft for commercial and government demand. The funds will scale production of Mira, a maneuverable spacecraft for satellite deployment, and Helios, a kick stage to move spacecraft from low Earth orbit to geostationary orbit. The round was led by 137 Ventures and BANNER VC, bringing total funding raised to over $1 billion.
