Lucid lays off 1,500 workers in second big cut of the year

Lucid announced a workforce reduction of approximately 18 percent across full-time employees, contractors, and production workers , with the second shift at its AMP-1 factory being eliminated . The reduction is expected to provide approximately $158 million in annualized cost savings .
