Man jailed for a month despite Flock showing he was 5 miles from crime scene

A San Diego man spent one month in jail for a crime he didn't commit after San Diego Police misinterpreted a Flock license plate reader hit. The man was five miles away from the crime scene at the time of the incident, and the license plate reader detected the wrong car. The assault with a firearm and evasion charges were eventually dropped after he spent nearly a month behind bars.
