Mem0: Self-hosted agent memory
Mem0 documents a self-hosted agent-memory REST API with a pgvector vector store and Neo4j knowledge graph; local models are optional.
Mem0's guide describes a self-hosted agent-memory deployment with an API server, PostgreSQL/pgvector for vector retrieval, and Neo4j for entity relationships. It shows memory CRUD through a REST API and explains how to replace the default OpenAI models with local Ollama models. This is a separate deployment option from the managed integration described in mem0.
Operational limitation: the guide says its example has no authentication and permissive CORS by default. It needs hardening before exposure to any network. The article is vendor-authored deployment guidance, not independent evidence of production security, reliability, or cost.
Compare with letta and zep; a named option is not proof that the different products have feature parity.
