Zep is an agent-memory platform built around user and organisational context graphs. In its August 2026 announcement, Zep says its Memory MCP Server lets a person's agents access the same identity-bound user memory across supported clients. It also describes shared organisational graphs discoverable through a graph directory, with policy-based access and audited connection changes.

The source states that the MCP connection is available in Zep's managed cloud and BYOC offering. These are vendor-reported capabilities, not an independent validation of access controls, retrieval quality, or performance. Evaluate the deployment and policy configuration directly before using Zep for sensitive information.
