Microsoft and Atom Computing achieved a major quantum computing milestone by creating and entangling 24 logical qubits on a commercial quantum machine. The breakthrough demonstrated significant error correction improvements, with an error rate of 10.2%—4.1 times better than the baseline—and marked the first demonstration of loss correction in a commercial neutral-atom system. EeroQ secured additional strategic investment from SEALSQ and became the lead investor in a funding round, advancing development of an integrated quantum security system combining SEALSQ's semiconductor and PKI technologies with EeroQ's electron-on-helium quantum architecture.
