Musk says US military suicide drones used Starlink in violation of SpaceX rules

Elon Musk claimed that US military LUCAS suicide drones initially used commercial Starlink instead of the government-specific Starshield network in violation of SpaceX's terms of service, blaming the contractor that built the drones. According to a Reuters report, SpaceX requested the Pentagon pay $25,000 monthly for Starshield access per drone—up from the previously paid $5,000—and the Pentagon ultimately agreed despite initial objections.
