NVIDIA’s Ising Decoder demonstrates a 347.7‑fold improvement in logical error rate (LER) and a 7.3‑fold faster runtime over the Chromobius decoder for the d = 31 triangular color code at a physical error rate of 0.3 %. The pipeline uses a 3‑D convolutional neural network pre‑decoder combined with an Ising model, enabling real‑time, low‑latency decoding that can be tuned to specific QPU architectures and noise profiles. NVIDIA released the full Ising model family, weights, synthetic‑data generation tools (cuQuantum, cuStabilizer), and a training pipeline to allow researchers to deploy high‑performance decoders on their own quantum processing units.
