On October 13, 2026 NVIDIA released the complete Run:ai platform—an AI workload and GPU orchestration system—as open‑source software under its DSX AI Factory Platform. The modular release includes four independently usable components: KAI Scheduler for GPU‑aware Kubernetes scheduling, an operator that supports CUDA‑native GPU fractioning, KAI Resource Management to handle organizational quotas, and Workload Map for unified workload contracts. Eight DSX ecosystem partners are integrating the platform, while complementary projects such as Model Streamer and Grove extend its capabilities to model loading and multi‑component inference orchestration.
