Professional school grads from diverse classes get higher salaries

A study by researchers at the University of Connecticut School of Business and Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business found that racial diversity on college campuses results in higher earnings for graduates, with one additional minority student per 100-student cohort increasing cumulative starting salaries by up to $30,000. Diverse campuses foster professional networks that open doors to job opportunities, mentorships, and contacts contributing to career and financial gain. This represents the first multischool, multidecade study tracking educational cohorts from matriculation through graduation demonstrating the objective economic benefits of racial diversity realized by graduates in the labor market.
