Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos has begun placing commercial advertising on space launch rockets amid declining revenues and the loss of foreign partners. Since the beginning of 2026, rockets launched from Baikonur have carried advertising for Russian companies including Promsvyazbank, Kofemania restaurant chain, and the Russian Olympic Committee. Potential annual revenue from advertising on rockets is estimated at up to $2.8 million, though actual income from completed campaigns has not been disclosed.
