Say hi to 'Siri AI'—Apple announces new, more 'conversational' voice assistant

Apple unveiled Siri AI at WWDC 2026, a completely rebuilt digital assistant designed to move beyond traditional voice commands and become a more conversational assistant capable of understanding personal context and responding with current web information. The new assistant includes its own standalone app that stores conversation history and syncs chats privately across Apple devices via iCloud. Siri AI will initially be available in English beta later in 2026 in the U.S. and other countries before expanding to other languages.
