Scientists ejected from diabetes conference for distributing journal reprints

Five scientists, including the editor-in-chief of America's leading diabetes journal, were removed from the American Diabetes Association's annual conference in New Orleans on June 5, 2026, after distributing an editorial criticizing Trump administration cuts to biomedical research.
