US's climate.gov site, taken down by Trump, relaunched by nonprofit

The Trump administration shut down the major federal climate website climate.gov , but former climate.gov staff members launched climate.us, a nonprofit organization working to archive the resources previously housed on the federal site . The nonprofit raised approximately $200,000 through crowdfunding to support the construction of the new website .
