Thunderbolt is a new open-source AI client from Mozilla-owned MZLA Technologies aimed at enterprises who want to run self-hosted chatbots on their own infrastructure. The platform allows organizations to run AI with their choice of models, connect to systems and data via integrations like Haystack, and automate workflows while maintaining security through self-hosted deployment and optional end-to-end encryption. Users can interact with the underlying AI for chat, research and other tasks through a web client or native applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
