Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Stephen Kamnik used his department-issued computer to create AI-generated deepfake pornography of multiple women, drawing source images from the state's driver's license database, law enforcement mug shot records, and secretly recorded footage of coworkers and women he encountered on duty. Investigators found more than 10,000 pornographic images on his devices, with victims including private citizens, coworkers, state police personnel, and a local judge. Kamnik pleaded guilty to charges including sexual abuse of children, unlawful use of a computer, wiretapping, and official oppression.
