SensorFM: Towards a general intelligence and interface for wearable health data

SensorFM is a foundation model that analyzes multimodal wearable sensor signals from devices like smartwatches and fitness trackers to generate insights into health and activities. The model was trained on 59.7 million hours of Fitbit and Pixel Watch data and translates raw sensor readings into natural language. Google envisions SensorFM leading to a future generation of digital health coaches, clinical monitoring tools and personal wellness applications that can offer advice through natural language interaction.
