A Commonwealth Fund study evaluating the U.S. health system relative to 19 other OECD countries across insurance coverage, affordability, care delivery, and health outcomes found significant disparities. The findings suggest critical needs to monitor changes in access, affordability, and inequities if the U.S. is to achieve health outcomes comparable to international peers.
